Create an API key

To create an API key:

  1. Go to the Service accounts tab of the Members page in the console.

  2. Open the information page of the service account for which you want to create an API key.

    Tip

    A service account in DoubleCloud can have multiple API keys.

  3. Under API keys, click Create key to create you account's first Secret key. You'll see the following dialog:

  4. Copy and keep the Private key and the Public key in a safe place.

    1. To download both keys as JSON, click Download file with keys.

    Warning

    Caution: once you close the dialog window, you won't be able to retrieve the contents of the secret key!
