Understand the WYSIWYG editor

You can use this editor to format text and lists, use advanced formatting, tables, and code with the following toolbar buttons:

Iteration

To cancel or repeat an action, use the Undo and Redo buttons.

Text

To format text, use the following toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts:

Lists

To add a list, select one or more paragraphs and use the following toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts:

Ordered list Ctrl + Shift + M + Shift + M

To format a nested list item, select a paragraph and press the Tab key () at the beginning of the line.

Advanced formatting

To add a quote or a cut, select one or more paragraphs and use the following toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts:

Code

To add a code block, select a line or paragraph, and use the following toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts:

To add a link:

  1. Select a text fragment or click the area to add a link.

  2. On the toolbar, click .

  3. Specify an URL. If you haven't selected a text fragment, enter the text to show as a link's anchor.

  4. Click Save.

To change or delete a link:

  1. Click the link.

  2. Edit it, and click Save.

Tables

To add a table, click the button on the toolbar and fill in table cells. You can format text in table cells.

To edit a table, select a cell and use the dynamic buttons.

Settings

To use Markdown-based mode to format text, click and toggle Markup.

To hide the toolbar, click and uncheck the Toolbar box. When the toolbar is hidden, you can call commands using the / symbol in the content field.
