Syntax

VAR( value )

VAR( value
     [ FIXED ... | INCLUDE ... | EXCLUDE ... ]
     [ BEFORE FILTER BY ... ]
   )

Description

Returns the statistical variance of all values in an expression based on a selection from the population.

Argument types:

• value — Fractional number | Integer

Return type: Fractional number
